Christina Light Craigo earned her Bachelors of Science in economics and Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University. She is nationally board certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She has worked for Los Angeles Cardiology Associates since 2005; her primary interests include women and heart disease and electrophysiology.
Ms. Craigo is an Associate Clinical Professor at the UCLA School of Graduate Nursing and precepts nurse practitioner and medical students. She has spoken at both a state and national level on topics including sudden cardiac death, atrial fibrillation, PVCs and ventricular tachycardia, syncope, women and heart disease and advanced EKG interpretation.
She is an Associate of the American College of Cardiology and earned her subspecialty certification in critical care and cardiac medicine. Ms. Craigo is an active member of the American College of Cardiology, the Heart Rhythm Society and the American Heart Association and is the past president of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners West Los Angeles chapter.
