Andrea Ennis earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Syracuse University in New York state. She worked as a registered nurse for 5 years on various cardiac specialty floors in New York City, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles. She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from UCLA and joined Los Angeles Cardiology in 2007. She is nationally board certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Andrea is an active member of the American College of Cardiology and the California Association for Nurse Practitioners, for which she has been President for the past 2 years. She has spoken at several nursing conferences at the state and national levels on various cardiac topics. When not working at LACA, she works part time at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in the cardiac cath lab as a registered nurse.
